Step Seven:

Replace your firewall

If you are using firewall software like Zone Alarm, Norton Internet Security, or McAfee Firewall, we have a free suggestive replacement.

• A program which works very well with the conference rooms would be Sygate Personal Firewall. Follow these directions and you will be up and running with all the top-of-the-line software protection out there;
  
  1) - Go to http://smb.sygate.com/buy/download_buy.htm
  2) - Scroll to the Bottom of the page and click the version titled: "Sygate Personal Firewall" > Free Download
  3) - This should open a new download window and start the download automatically.
  4) - Follow the instructions as you go along.
  5) - When installed, Sygate will give you a warning that programs are trying to access the Internet, and as long as those programs are ones you recognize, then put a check mark in the box on the popup security window and click "yes". If you are not sure what the programs are it alerts you to, you can just click "no", and if it was something you were trying to access on the Net, and you can not reach the program, then you will need to redo your steps to open the program and instead of clicking "no", put the check mark in the box and click "yes" so it remembers that this is a program that is okay and that you want to be able to access the Net with.
